Lutefisk is made from dried fish or dried cod treated with lye in a special process. The fish are first put in soak in cold water for five or six days, with daily change of water. The water saturated the fish is then put to soak in cold water and lye for two days. Under this treatment the fish swells to more than its original size, while protein content is reduced by about 50% - which gives the fish its characteristic consistency.
Lutefisk is a traditional food in the Nordic countries except Denmark. The Nordic emigration to the United States has the custom of eating lutefisk also spread there.

Troll
A troll is a collective term for several types of human-like, ugly creatures of Scandinavian folklore and fairy tale tradition with roots in Norse mythology. Both look and features vary, but magic is often both dangerous and stupid. There may be a matter of colossal Jutulhogget and riser, that is, evil giants, as well as tiny goblins and dwarves and other underground figures. Trolls like to keep to the inaccessible nature, such as in caves in the mountains, forests and oceans.
